What to wear this Diwali - 2 - Sari styling

The one thing you can't go wrong with is a vintage saree. Raid your mum's closet this Diwali. I am picking this beautiful patola saree exquisite, colorful and one of a kind.
Accessorising it with my trade mark gajra and potli in a contrast colour. Something old, something new and you are all set to turn heads :)

Nothing spells festivities more than the color red. Purity, shakti or simply love, the significance of this color in our festivals and traditions is second to no other. This plain red tussar silk saree is my next pick for the Diwali get-togethers. I enjoy the matte texture of tussar and pair it with a matte gold blouse. The brass necklace with ashtakoni beads from Orissa, the new Pure Ghee banarsi copper clutch and the gold Gajra are my choice of accessories. The fun is in combining textures. It is possible to be a bright and festive without being loud or jarring!

Choose bright color and rich weaves.. like this pink chanderi saree. All you need are some gold accessories.. a gajra for that playful and vintage charm and a simple clutch for your essentials.

The language of flowers is second to no other. Known to bring love, good luck and happiness, there is a deeper meaning to them. This festive season, embrace the timeless trend that speaks of splendour and finery. Add that touch of dreamy romance to your look with floral accessories.
